Bret Leuthner: Lead play-by-play announcer Bret Leuthner has had past experience with the Outlaws, as well as Sky Blue FC of the now defunct Women's Professional Soccer, He has also called action for the Newark Bears, Newark Ironbound Express, and various high school sporting events. Bret has provided tremendous services to the WPU program along with the entire crew ("JP", Sean Bretherick, and Andrew Shapiro). Bret was named to the ACHA's Director of Broadcasting team as he will help ensure that the National Tournaments run professionally and smoothly. He also serves as lead play-by-play announcer on United Womens Hockey League webcasts, as well as hosts Bret Leuthner Sports Program, Point Well Taken, MESN Fantasy Football Report, and co-hosts Hudson Hockeywith John Pederson on MESN Radio. Bret is entering his eighth season with the Pioneers. Bret has add tremendous value to both the WPU Hockey program and ACHA.
John Pederson: serves as a color commentator, as well as provide play-by-play for middle periods during Outlaws broadcasts last season. "JP" also serves as lead host of Hudson Hockey, a weekly webcast devoted to the sport of hockey, that airs live on MESN Radio (www.mesnradio.com) Tuesday nights from 7-8. JP along with Bret has been with the program for 8 seasons.
